Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the administration requirements of the Principal Operating Company (\xe2\x80\x9cPOC\xe2\x80\x9d) to ensure full compliance to the POC framework and governance process and the Tax Accounting (ASC740) and Provision and related Tax Compliance. The role will also be keeping updated with tax legislation and communicate effectively to the Corporate Tax Team.

How You Will Help Us Succeed

(A) Providing administration support to the Corporate Tax team for POC related matters:

  • Arrange and schedule monthly meetings with the POC personnel
  • Attend meetings with the POC personnel
  • Prepare meeting minutes / context during meeting with POC personnel
  • Prepare the monthly report after the meetings with the POC personnel
  • Collect and follow-up on required documents from the POC personnel based on the guidance from Tax Managers
  • Assist with uploading the documents and maintaining the POC SharePoint server
  • Collect travel records from the POC personnel and update their travel records into the POC standard travel template
(B) Providing tax support services to Corporate Tax Team
  • Tax Compliance
  • Responsible for reviewing tax provision calculations for assigned legal entities for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in reviewing annual corporate income tax returns for assigned legal entities
  • Assist Tax Managers in working with site finance, external advisers to defend FMC\'s tax position during tax audit
  • Assist Tax Managers in managing Permanent Establishment in the region
  • Assist and support Global Transfer Pricing Team with global transfer pricing execution and reporting
  • Conduct research and stay up to date with current and developing tax topics in Singapore or internationally that may impact the business
  • Assist with any other tax projects, where necessary
What You Will Bring to Us
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounting firms or industry
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and good problem-solving skills
  • High attention to details and highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Agile mindset, and ability to adapt quickly in ambiguous situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders across all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
