The Tax Manager - International Tax will report directly to the Head of Tax - Asia Pacific (\xe2\x80\x9cHead of Tax\xe2\x80\x9d). As a member of the Corporate Tax team located in Singapore, the Tax Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the tax compliance in our region, driving tax initiatives and technology, reviewing tax processes, helping with tax audits in the region and supporting the business teams in tax matters,. This role will collaborate and work closely with the indirect tax team, accounting and other finance and business functions.Tax Manager - International Tax (Asia Pacific) ResponsibilitiesManage the tax compliance and reporting requirements for the Asia Pacific region - including the review of tax returns, tax payment calculations, tax forecasts, and deferred tax calculations, as well as technical analysis in support of statutory audit.Maintain oversight and co-ordination of tax compliance activities outsourced to external service providersAssist in the implementation of tax technologyEnsure transfer pricing obligations (e.g. documentation) are fulfilled under local transfer pricings laws and regulationsSupport and assist with the quarterly tax accounting and reporting. This includes the calculation and tracking of quarterly / year-end transfer pricing corrections and Uncertain Tax PositionsAssist and manage tax audits in the regionWork with the Head of Tax to support the business teams in any tax issuesEstablish a strong relationship with the regional business teams, finance, legal and policy leaders to share tax views and information.Minimum QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Law10 or more years of relevant APAC tax experience - tax compliance, transfer pricing, tax advisory and tax controversyStrong analytical, organization, documentation, research and project management skillsAbility to simplify and communicate complex business/ tax informationAbility to work as a team and interact with personnel at all levels of the organizationHighly organized, self-motivated, meticulous, and ability to work independently in a high-pressure environmentPreferred QualificationsPreferably with both commercial experience and exposure in Big 4 Accounting firmLocationsAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
