Details of the Division and Team:

We are part of the Regulatory Technology team responsible for providing technology support for regulatory applications.

Our team provides an end to end, follow the sun support service for regulatory reporting applications used by multiple business groups, particularly Regulatory Operations, interacting and working alongside operations, development, business analysts and infrastructure teams. Being at the forefront of supporting the applications, team members have high exposure to and work with the front to back business teams daily within a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Your key responsibilities:

Working within a global production support team of ~12 people, providing application support and maintaining an operational environment for multiple regulatory reporting applications (both in-house and vendor provided) for daily operational tasks, incident and problem management, change, as well as shared responsibility for production readiness for new application/service on-boarding.

Meeting key performance indicators relating to production support activities, such as incident and problem targets, automation and manual effort reduction, disaster recovery compliance, closure of audit points, monitoring improvements etc.

Following and improving production support processes and best practices across the regulatory space, covering the ITIL disciplines of incident and problem management, as well as engaging in engineering practices to improve supportability, reliability, and resilience. Reduce manual interventions and automate manual activity to maintain compliance with bank policies.

Participating in the resolution of major incidents from detection to resolution, including documentation of closure of subsequent post-mortem and problem management activities.

Gain detailed knowledge of all business flows, the application architectures, and the hardware configuration for supported applications.

Follow and maintain OLAs, SLAs and knowledge bases to support the platforms, ensuring consistent service levels are achieved.

Build and maintain effective and productive relationships with the stakeholders in business, development, infrastructure, and third-party systems / data providers & vendors. Provide senior stakeholder reporting and updates.

Ensure timely delivery of key data feeds and services within SLAs. Consistently achieve maximum availability (up time) for critical functionality.

Assist in the process to review and approve all new releases and production configuration changes; ensure development includes all necessary documentation for each change and conduct post-release testing where required.

Joint ownership of the production environment and act as gatekeeper for all changes.

Your skills and experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant L2 production support work experience.

Proven track record in financial institutions within production support teams, and dealing with business users on support, as well as working with development teams and other production teams for problem and change management.

Strong skills using UNIX/Linux, Oracle databases, scripting languages, scheduling and automation tools.

ITIL (or equivalent) certification or ITIL Foundation level.

Good business domain knowledge within the regulatory domain.

Knowledge and some experience of standard application development technologies, e.g. Java.

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS).

Experience of monitoring/scheduling software such as Geneos, Splunk, Control-M, Autosys, etc.

Knowledge of the Agile method of software development

Experience in task automation, e.g. Ansible

Experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining contingency and business continuity plans.

Exposure in a large scale organization \xe2\x80\x93 re-using standard approved processes and adherence to firmwide standards.

Work across countries, regions, and time zones with a broad range of cultures and technical capability

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and at senior levels. Relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
