Job Scope:\xc2\xb7 Day-to-day care and maintenance of the school green spaces (library planter, urban grow towers, Ecogarden, hydroponics system), including watering when required.\xc2\xb7 Provide knowledge input and advice relating to all aspects of the garden, including pruning, staking, feeding and spraying pesticides.\xc2\xb7 Regularly inspect school green spaces and undertake minor repairs, or advise the teacher-in-charge.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and maintain the health of all the plants in the school green spaces.\xc2\xb7 Address pest problems that could damage plants.\xc2\xb7 Trim and fertilize green spaces.\xc2\xb7 Mulch, edge and weed gardens.\xc2\xb7 Routine Inventory check and organising of stores\xc2\xb7 CCA Support -- Environmental Club & Project WorksRequirements:Knowledge of:\xc2\xb7 Trimming, tree cutting and pruning\xc2\xb7 Irrigation and irrigation system management\xc2\xb7 Application of chemical and organic herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers\xc2\xb7 Soil management activities\xc2\xb7 Sowing, cultivation and propagation of plants, trees and shrubs\xc2\xb7 Cultivating fruit and vegetable plants\xc2\xb7 How the hydroponic system functions, simple troubleshooting and problem solvingCandidate who has prior experience working in school or with children is preferred.Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 (option to extend till 2026)Working Arrangement: \xc2\xb7 Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 12:00pmService is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidaysLocation: Boon Lay DriveSalary: TBA
