About the Course

Vertical Institute's Generative AI Course provides professionals with practical, hands-on training in prompt engineering, ChatGPT, OpenAI API integration, AI automation workflows, and ethical considerations in AI. Classes are delivered live during weekday evenings or weekends and are led by experienced industry instructors, supported by dedicated teaching assistants.

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support both instructors and learners to ensure a seamless and engaging learning experience. Your role includes assisting with live sessions, facilitating hands-on labs, and providing guidance and technical support beyond the virtual classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Assist instructors during live Zoom lessons Support learners through practical labs across all modules, including Generative AI fundamentals, prompt engineering (beginner to advanced), AI automation workflows, OpenAI API integration, and security, privacy, and ethical considerations Provide timely support to learners via the Telegram community and e-learning portal, answering questions and troubleshooting technical issues Maintain accurate attendance records in line with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) requirements Relay learner feedback and insights to the curriculum team to enhance course delivery and content relevance

Qualifications and Skills

Working knowledge of Generative AI tools, including ChatGPT (with advanced prompting), OpenAI API, and popular AI content generation and automation platforms Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accessibly to learners Confident in facilitating online sessions using Zoom with a reliable remote setup (camera, microphone, stable internet) Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or serving as a teaching assistant is preferred
