You will also play a key part in advocating for your customers within VMware, sharing their experience and requirements with the account teams, support, engineering and product managers, helping to draw the shape of our products and contributing your point of view for our shared success.
As an App Modernization TAM, you will have the opportunity to specialize in Tanzu technologies and solutions by developing and expanding your deep technical knowledge and skills for related VMware products. You will communicate regularly with customers and use your knowledge of their architecture to develop support plans, upgrade plans, and status reports recognizing their priorities, challenges, initiatives, and potential areas for improvement. You will use your judgment and technical expertise to identify, document, and report issues with design, reliability, and maintenance issues. You will also be able to create a long-term relationship with a small number of assigned customers while developing an understanding of the customer’s technical goals as they align to their business goals and overall impact of VMware’s solutions on business results.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
During the first year, you will onboard into the TAM role and work with your assigned customers.
