Job Description

Job Scope:

• Perform system monitoring, ensure server availability, review logs, and verify job completions for user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments in the cloud.
• Apply operating system (OS) and middleware component patches, security patches, and upgrades regularly.
• Install, configure, and maintain environments across development stages (Dev, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Prod).
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
• Automate cloud deployments and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for infrastructure code.
• Manage and optimize AWS resources (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
• Monitor cloud environments, respond to incidents, and ensure uptime and performance.
• Collaborate with security teams for audits and apply best practices for cloud security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams regarding cloud integration.
• Install, configure, and maintain IBM FileNet P8 (5.5) and related components.
• Monitor and manage FileNet servers and storage. Perform regular system backups and recovery operations.
• Manage security and access control within FileNet.
• Troubleshoot and resolve FileNet issues.
• Install, configure, and manage Kong API Gateway environments, including setting up new instances, clusters, and plugins.
• Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and scalability of the Kong environment.
• Implement and manage security policies, including authentication and authorization for Application Programming Interface (API) endpoints.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to API gateway and integrations, providing timely support to development teams.
• Implement tuning and scaling strategies to ensure optimal operation of API gateway.
• Install, configure, and maintain IBM DB2 databases on Linux in high availability setup.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform regular database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage database security, including user access and permissions.
• Implement and manage database replication and high availability solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database related issues and errors.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as reorganization, statistics collection, and index management.
• Implement and manage security policies, secure sockets layer (SSL) certificates, and other security measures to safeguard WebSphere environments.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to WebSphere applications, servers, and middleware components.
• Develop scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve efficiency in managing WebSphere environments.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for WebSphere environments.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 10 to 12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations.
• AWS Associate Level certified or an equivalent certification.
• Experience in provisioning and configuring of AWS resources using Terraform.
• Experience in maintaining and upgrading solutions for AWS Cloud.
• Experience in CI/CD using GitLab.
• Experience in Linux Operating System and bash scripting.
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Middleware tools like WebSphere, HTTP Server, FileNet CMIS and DB2.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Ability to demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
