As a Technical Deployment Advisor, you will plan, monitor and manage project implementations from initiation through completion, including the oversight and coordination with vendors. You will also deliver project implementations on-time according to customers\' specifications, meeting customers\' and Equinix\'s quality standards.Responsibilities
Customer Order: Requirements & SupportSupports senior team members in documenting and validating customers\' order requirements, and develops technical knowledge of the Data CentersCustomer Order: Project PlanningCreates task list to document and understand the customers\' deployment, shadowing more senior team members on development of project implementation plansCustomer Order: Project Implementation and DeliveryWorks on assigned project activitiesSupports senior team members on inventory auditing and records keeping during project implementationCross Functional, Customer Support & Customer CommunicationsSupports senior team members on the investigations and resolutions of customers\' and cross-functional issues during project implementationLearns Equinix Operations Policies and ProcessesProcess Support/OptimizationLearns and follows business and/or technical processes within the Data Center; may start to identify opportunities for improvement for basic or narrowly focused processes (e.g. Order fulfillment process)Systems SupportDevelops knowledge of and learns business systems (i.e. Siebel Fulfillment) within EquinixData Support/AnalysisSupports the team in ensuring Operations provisioning data is accurately input into Equinix business systems (i.e. Siebel Fulfillment)Supports the team in any physical audit effortsVendor SupportSupports the team and Data Center Operations Support on any required Vendor supportQualifications3+ years operations / project management experience in a Data Center environment is a plusDiploma and above in IT -related or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering field preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
