Job Description

A leading bank is hiring a .NET Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade banking applications. This role combines hands-on coding with team leadership across complex, high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with System Analysts to understand and analyze user, business, and system functional requirements, translating them into clear delivery objectives. + Perform risk assessments to evaluate current vs. future-state processes, identifying technical constraints and limitations in proposed solutions.
+ Design robust technical solutions aligned with the Functional Specification Document.
+ Develop and implement solutions based on Technical Specifications, including thorough unit testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
+ Conduct code reviews for junior developers and external vendors to maintain coding standards and best practices.
+ Prepare and review documentation related to system releases and deployments.
+ Support system testing activities, ensuring timely resolution of reported issues.
+ Assist in integration testing and user acceptance testing phases.
+ Provide incident support by diagnosing and resolving technical issues, including root cause analysis.
+ Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication and timely issue resolution.
+ Escalate challenges and unresolved issues promptly to the Team Lead or Team Head.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience). + Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in software development using .NET technologies, with strong proficiency in C#.NET.
+ Prior experience in banking or financial institutions is highly desirable.
+ Proven experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-native .NET applications on Microsoft Azure.
+ Hands-on expertise in Azure Functions, Azure messaging services, and related compute resources.
+ Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
+ Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
+ High level of accountability, ownership, and commitment to delivery excellence.
