Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all IoT devices and systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition. The candidate will support the team by performing installation and maintenance on IoT devices and systems in accordance with maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).





Individual should be a good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders.


Plan and undertake scheduled field tasks at Clients' premises (ie. IoT Devices.) Perform basic device break-fix during preventive maintenance windows when required Coordinate and monitor work progress with customer and relevant parties for information to expedite installation and supervise sub-contractors' work at site. Schedule purchases and deliveries of all materials for the project. Carry out basic troubleshooting, minor repair for IT enterprise products Prepare preventive maintenance documentation for submission Record and report device failure discovered during the preventive maintenance cycle And any other ad hoc job requirements

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent Good technical skills in engineering Ability to engage external stakeholders to resolve site issues Highly motivated and self-driven to complete assigned tasks with limited resources and tight schedule Able to handle complex technical challenges and different groups of users and external vendors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well at all levels Able to work flexible hours especially during after-office hour for scheduled maintenance windows, if required * Possess strong analytical skills with positive attitude
