Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Project Manager to plan, monitor, and report on project progress, budget, and performance. Lead and support planners in developing work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource histograms. Integrate budgeting with scheduling to track cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions. Analyse project progress and forecast trends; develop recovery and catch-up plans where required. Coordinate and attend meetings with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to review project status. Identify potential delays or risks, advise the Project Manager, and prepare mitigation or contingency plans. Monitor and update project schedules using Primavera, ensuring alignment with the project baseline. Benchmark current progress, review critical paths, and prepare regular project reports and dashboards. Prepare progress S-Curves, rolling programs, and analysis reports highlighting key milestones and issues. Manage and report on KPIs to assess project health, performance, and improvement opportunities. Mentor and support Planning Engineers to enhance team capability and ensure adherence to CCCC standards. Ensure all planning and reporting activities comply with company processes, systems, and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years' experience in technical/design management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of design coordination, shop drawings, and authority submission procedures. Experience in both permanent and temporary works design management. * Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
