Job Description

Job Purpose

The Technical Officer is responsible to perform Preventive / Corrective and Overhaul Maintenance. He/She is also to perform fault attendance, fault diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on either trains/locomotives, tracks/rail, track infrastructure, facilities, signaling, communications, or power equipment.
• Work in any of SMRT Maintenance Depots or facilities, as assigned by supervisors.
• Work in rotating or fixed shifts (in accordance with MOM guidelines), as assigned by supervisors.
• Work at heights to perform maintenance activities (Training and qualifications will be provided by company.)
• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and/or modifications in accordance with maintenance manual and/or approved work instructions, as assigned by supervisors. (Training and qualifications will be provided by company.)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Able to perform shift work.
