About the Company
Our client is a well-established organization with a strong presence in the transport and infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a hands-on and safety-conscious Technical Operations Officer to support the day-to-day rail systems operations.
- Coordinate train movements, oversee control centre function, and support maintenance and logistical activities for safe and efficient operations of facility;
- Support safe and compliant rail operations, including train routing, vehicle shunting, and controlled track access;
- Monitor activities and enforce adherence to safety protocols and operating procedures;
- Coordinate delivery logistics and lifting operations with external contractors;
- Lead assigned teams involved in infrastructure and systems maintenance;
- Perform training of junior staff as required.
- Tertiary education in Engineering, particularly electrical or mechanical engineering;
- Prior experience in rail operations would be an advantage;
- Team management and supervisory skills would be an advantage;
- Class 3 or 4 driving licence would be an advantage;
- Self-driven and adaptable, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- This role may require overseas travel for assignments;
- This role requires shift duty and overtime.
