About the Team We are responsible for project management of Non-China monetization data compliance projects and compliance related processes such as SDLC. Outside monetization, we collaborate with various data compliance project initiators such as TikTok compliance PM/PMO/Engineering, GSO and TTMP Privacy PM. And we help to converge and prioritize various projects, and provide holistic project management solutions to those projects. Inside monetization, we coordinate various monetization engineering/product/operation teams to achieve the data compliance project goals as efficiently as possible.

We are looking for a highly-motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our TikTok Monetization team to support that growth and help us empower creators, connect people, and explore possibilities by building the next-generation monetization platform together.

As a TPM for TikTok Monetization team, you will be challenged to undertake complicated projects driving the team to enhance the business. Your focus area will be privacy data protection and information security. You will be responsible for strategic cross-functional project planning, prioritization, execution and communication with key stakeholders. Meanwhile, you will learn and grow in a fast paced environment alongside talented teammates on TikTok Monetization team.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, roadmap, and drive execution for TikTok Monetization privacy and security initiatives and key projects.

• Work with cross-functional teams to translate the strategy into detailed requirements with a clear timeline by exercising technical and business judgment.

• Build effective and transparent communication channels to align and partner with internal as well as external stakeholders and delivery team.

• Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve work efficiency.
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management

• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership, who can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up; self-initiating; thrive in ambiguity.

• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management, trust building, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background and the ability to quickly understand technical designs, challenges and risks.

• Experience in security, integrity, etc.

• Experience with GDPR , CCPA and other privacy regulations.
