The Role
We are seeking to engage a Technical Project Manager - Utilities & Special Systems for the Changi East Airport Development. In this role youll be responsible for the overall planning and design of utilities serving the Changi East Airport Development, including Sewerage, IT/Communications & Telco, Water (potable/Newater/Fire Hydrant), Electrical Power Distribution (HT 22kV/66kV and LV), and Gas.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supports the Project Director, in ensuring timely and quality delivery of all deliverables under Utilities
• Makes planning and design decisions to ensure project runs smoothly within contractual scope, schedule and quality are met
• Organizes and chairs design meetings with client, airport stakeholders and agencies/authorities
• Reports progress to client and external stakeholders

About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:

• Engineering degree from accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or Chartered/Registered Engineer of a recognized international institution equivalent to PEB in Singapore
• At least 15 years experience in managing design teams for the design and construction of utilities services of international airport project(s) of minimum construction value of S$50mil and above
• Seen through the development (to completion) of a minimum of one international airport of at least 15 mil passengers per annum or one major utilities project of similar scale and complexity in the past 10 years
• Experience in planning and designing of utilities for distribution
• Familiar with local Singapore design code of practices
• Experience in utilities construction, laying of water & pipes, electrical cable ducts and cable pulling, is an advantage
• Experience in managing diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong writing skills, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver
• Proactive in solving issues, decisive, highly motivated and enthusiastic
