  • Efficiently manage your assigned territory, focusing on key accounts and activities, and utilize both internal and external resources effectively
  • Develop and execute account plans and associated actions with strategic end users and partners to increase sales and market share
  • Maintain a continuous pipeline of sales opportunities by prospecting for new business, consistently tracking progress, and advancing opportunities
  • Influence key decision makers in major accounts by aligning the product value proposition with customer pain points and challenges and excel at tailoring value to the account\'s business needs
  • Manage existing partner relationships, identify new partners, and collaborate on growth strategies for distributor partners
  • Implement training programs covering product knowledge, marketing initiatives, and business processes
  • Organize and conduct product trials and demonstrations to support conversions and cross-selling opportunities, leveraging technical specialists as needed
  • Communicate effectively at all levels, building strategic relationships both internally and externally
The Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Electrical, Welding) or Business
  • At least 6 years of industry experience as an account manager for industrial products, preferably in the welding industry
  • Technical aptitude to sell a comprehensive product portfolio, preferably in welding
  • Ability to build effective account plans, manage sales opportunities, and maintain strong account management practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels (key decision makers, users) within end user and channel partner organizations
  • Strong value selling skills with the ability to convert new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel
