Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Marine DecarbonizationOur Client: Our client\'s marine solutions enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of maritime operations. With a portfolio that includes electric propulsion systems, energy storage, automation, and digital services, they provide cutting-edge solutions for various vessels. Their integrated power and automation solutions optimize performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.As a Technical Sales Manager for Process Automation, you will be responsible for driving decarbonization service and retrofit sales in collaboration with the decarbonization service team. Your role involves developing proactive sales with vessel owners, consultancies, and ship designers, generating decarbonization service opportunities, and securing profitable sales within the designated area.The Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and selling the entire decarbonization product portfolio, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs and expanding our presence in designated areas
  • Generating new sales leads for decarbonization solutions, exploring potential new service portfolios, and marketing the organisations offerings at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and customer meetings. You will prepare and deliver technical presentations internally and to customers
  • Collaborating with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager to implement sales strategies, prepare technical proposals, and promote decarbonization upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions
  • Managing sales administrative processes, negotiating contracts with customers in alignment with organisations priorities and strategies, and monitoring sales proposals and tender activities.
The Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years\' experience in the marine industry
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, preparation of commercial offerings, and technical proposals
  • Skilled in developing technical concepts and managing cost and business growth
  • Analytical with good attention to detail
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
