The ideal candidate will apply sales experience, knowledge of relevant scientific fields, product expertise, market intelligence, and territory leadership skills to grow sales and profitability. You will be recognized as a technical leader in driving strategic objectives and adoption of new products within the sales force.What will you do?Selling and promoting the Protein Detection and Immunoassays portfolios across a defined territoryDrive business growth through the development of new business and by growing business with current customersPut customers first - Respond efficiently to customer requests, explore customer business goals and be a technical resource.Establish technical credibility and develop relationships with accounts and colleagues.Apply technical and business knowledge to present an attractive value proposition to customers.Work within a broader sales team and engage with multiple internal collaboratorsAttend Trade Exhibitions to generate leads and prospects for the company\xe2\x80\x99s productsDevelop and implement technology seminars applicable to the account research focusCollect, process, and disseminate market feedback and competitive intelligence to support evolution of our product offeringsAccept and adapt to change quickly while remaining effective and efficientIndependently balance multiple tasks in parallel and prioritize workloadManage employee development, train and promote growth and development.Field travel is required (50% or more)How will you get here?EducationMasters in Life Sciences or equivalentExperience3+ years technical sales experience (or equivalent work experience) in life sciences, serving academic, government, and biopharma customers is highly preferred.Strong life science knowledge in Western Blotting, Immunoassays and Mass Spectrometry would be usefulOpen to candidates with relevant technical knowledge, who wants to switch over to sales roleHighly motivated to develop new business
