RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support to Testcell Ops to achieve engineering and quality excellence.

Review engine workscope for Test-as-received (TAR) engines and provide applicable work instructions to the shop to ensure compliance with engineering data during engine test.

Lead test engine troubleshooting and failure investigation and coordinate with engine OEM, airline customers and aviation authorities for engine condition documentation and reporting.

Supervise engine performance analysis to ensure engine meets engine manual and customer performance requirement and durability standard.

Supervise test cell trending analysis activities to ensure test cell correlation is maintained.

Lead engineering capability acquisition and/or test cell upgrading projects.

Supervise engine correlation and master test cell maintenance activities.

Propose and implement creative engineering solution to improve quality, reduce engine turn time and shop visit cost.

Lead continuous improvement projects to bring progressive change to the department and company.

Provide mentorship and regular performance reviews to a team of Technical Services Engineers.

Promote the culture of inclusiveness, teamwork and cooperation for a high performing team.

Assist the Engineering Manager in project execution to achieve departmental goals and be the department focal in interdepartmental projects when assigned.

Such other duties that are assigned by the Engineering Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree/Masters in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years' experience in Aerospace MRO or Engine Performance setting.

Strong technical background in aircraft/engine maintenance, repair, testing and troubleshooting.

Good leadership and mentorship skills to direct the company in engineering activities.

Basic working knowledge in areas of finance, costing and balance sheet.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Highly motivated and innovative individual who is meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

Working knowledge in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).

Strong strategic and analytical thinking and outstanding tactical execution skills.

Team-player with high standards of performance and personal integrity.
