Market responsibility for several countries in Asia Pacific

Product responsibility for SternVitamin Micronutrient Premixes that are to be developed in close collaboration with the R&D team in Germany

Technical support of regional sales activities;

Work closely with Central R&D formulators for development of recipes and premix formulations by project;

Follow-up and delivery / presentation of results to clients and / or channel partners;

Liaison with and advice to clients with regard to product application and problem resolution;

Handling of technical claims and complaints;

Periodical technical presentations and training of distributors and clients regarding

micronutrient fortification technology and concept sharing;

Preparation of simple prototypes for certain end products (within the constraints of our

laboratory's capabilities);

Liaison with Product Management team for proactive and continuous input of ideas for new product concepts, particularly with a view to better localization of product range;

Development and continuous refinement of suitable presentation tools for theoretical product promotion and elaboration;

Continuous study of relevant technical publications, frequent scouring of MINTEL new product database for inspiration with regard to new fortification concepts;

Continuous liaison with central R&D in order to stay informed of own new product development at all times; travel to central R&D Germany for practical training

and skill upgrades.

Travel approx. 50 - 60 days per annum within the defined markets

Degree in Food Science / Nutrition / Chemistry or similar;

3-5 years professional experience and proven track record in a technical role, preferably

With a food industry employer involved with micronutrients or other nutritional or functional ingredients
