Ensure that company policy related to Health, Safety, Security, Environment issues are effectively implemented and regularly monitored for its compliance in relation to operation of the fleet vessels
Overall supervision of all technical issues of vessels such as navigation repairs, docking, new building, crewing, etc and Monitors performance of vessels (High Speed Crafts), compliance with all applicable safety and pollution prevention regulations, certification status of vessels and ensure that vessels are always maintained in seaworthy condition and trading certificates are valid.
To monitor major deficiencies/defects that exist in the vessels and ensure timely corrective actions are taken in order that the vessels\' performance and safety is not jeopardized and timely clear recommendations or findings from Authority or Classifications or clients
Emergency Response Team and support Claim team for H&M and P&I insurance issues and support Operation team for any operational requests
Conduct internal ISM and ISPS audit as per SMS Manual for effective implementation of ISM and ISPS code on-board and ashore and carry out related corrections on the deficiencies
Responsible for the development, updating, tracking and reviewing of vessels Planned Maintenance System for company\xe2\x80\x99s related vessel/equipment.
Work closely with ship management team to review, improve and implement policies and procedures on resource allocation, operations, crewing, training, health, safety and environment so as to achieve the required service levels and performance targets
Organize and allocate work scope for any repair and maintenance operations ;
Requirements
Diploma in Maritime/Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Relevant general marine technical knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
