Job Description

Our client is a reputable shipowner with a diverse fleet operating across international waters. They are seeking dedicated professionals to join their team and contribute to the efficient management and operation of their vessels.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee technical aspects of bunker tanker new build projects from contract signing to delivery. Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with financial targets. Coordinate with shipyards, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure build quality and timely progress. Review and approve technical drawings, specifications and documentation related to new builds. Conduct inspections and surveys during construction to verify compliance with class, flag, and client requirements. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns. Liaise with classification societies, flag authorities and other stakeholders. Prepare regular progress and budget reports for senior management. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the build process.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent, preferably in bunker tanker new build projects. Proven experience managing project budgets and controlling costs. Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes, maritime regulations, and classification society rules. Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with shipyards and cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. * Relevant maritime or engineering qualifications preferred.
