Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Become an expert user of the system through constant testing and scrutinizing;
  • Work with project teams (including Business Analysts) to spec out testing requirements for a project;
  • Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects and testing requirements, and provide input to technical writers;
  • Review user requirements documents and prepare test plans, scripts and scenarios;
  • Carry out all levels of testing including integration, stress, performance, scalability, functional, unit and UAT;
  • Test in different environments including web and mobile, various browsers etc
  • Execute tests and analyse the results on database impacts, errors, bugs, usability and match to requirements;
  • Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and highlight risks;
  • Develop testing and reporting tools within the scope of your expertise;
  • Identify, remove and escalate obstacles that might hinder agreed release dates;
  • Promptly escalate and collaborate in relation to all incidents;
  • Provide objective feedback and present testing findings to the software development team and other stakeholders;
  • Be a first point of contact for customers, take ownership of technical issues reported in the Service Desk, ask targeted questions to quickly understand the root cause and see problems through to resolution;
  • Prioritise and manage multiple open Service Desk issues at one time;
  • Log, triage, monitor, manage and progress all customer incidents and support issues using work management tools and ticketing systems.
  • Support global IT initiatives and projects with testing, general customer support and helping with customer issues during the project stage and thereafter;
Job Requirements
  • Min 2 years + experience as manual tester
  • 2+ year of experience providing IT software support to customers
  • Working on commercial projects related to ERP
  • Working within agile and waterfall environments
  • Providing 2nd or 3rd level IT software support to customers
Job Type: Full-timePay: $4,000.00 - $7,500.00 per monthSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
