Job Description

The major job responsibility of a Technical Support Engineer is to provide necessary support in the current working applications or other system errors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Correcting errorsif any and modifying the existing software. Upgrade interfaces by updating the hardware for better performance of the system. Undergo a detailed studyof the existing system to install or upgrade to a new system. Interact with customers or clients about the project status and solve the technical issues if any. Prepare and maintain status reports on the project. Provide training to the users regarding any upgraded systems. Provide direction during software programming and development of documentation Confer with the project managers regarding any issues in data processing Setup, configure and troubleshoot server systems in Windows platform Design, setup, configure and troubleshoot network systems Maintain adequate IT documentations, covering infrastructure and inventory. Monitoring equipment functioning to ensure system operation according to the specifications. To provide technical services and support for hardware and software issues on desktop, servers involving application installation, setup and maintenance of clinical devices. Attend to service tickets in Helpdesk System. Shift Work rotation

Requirements:

Possess Diploma in any relevant Information Technology/ Computer Science field. Candidates with min 4 years of experience working in the IT field will be an added advantage. Diagnosis skills of technical issues. Infra and networking knowledge is value added. Good interpersonal skills and team player. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. * Self-motivated with the abilityto work in a fast-moving environment.
