The opportunity is to join IDEXX - the global leader in veterinary diagnostics, in the role of Customer Technical Support . In this role you’ll utilize your customer service skills in addressing a range of queries spanning technological and biological disciplines.

This role is best suited to organized, passionate communicators who strive to help veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and animal healthcare diagnostic professionals keep our pets healthy.

Does this sound interesting? In this telephone-based role, you’ll:

  • Support our customers in both Singapore and Taiwan
  • Instruct our customers on the use of our in-clinic diagnostic analyzers, reference laboratory offering and test kits.
  • Troubleshoot hardware technical issues and solve software integration issues.

What you need to succeed
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Be curious, motivated and goal orientated.
  • Be able to learn quickly, adapt and utilize your complete skillset to bring a variety of customer interactions to an efficient and effective resolution.
  • Have experience in a technically related field – veterinary clinic, laboratory setting, contact centre environment. Computer networking and / or software support is a plus.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills to quickly establish a rapport that allows for resolution of complex issues to technical and non-technical users in a professional, positive, friendly and understandable manner.
  • Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Physical demands:
  • Extensive sitting, phone and computer use.
  • May be required to lift, move and carry up to 23 kilograms.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Hearing acuity sufficient to effectively communicate with customers and Employees via telephone and in person.
