Build, manage and develop an effective technical training team by implementing and embedding best practice to drive employee engagement and business performance.
Develop, agree, and implement the strategic plan including short and long-term goals for business area of responsibility.
Have overall accountability for the training costs in respect of the business, the technical training team expenditure and headcount costs.
Perform a continuous training needs analysis to ensure timely delivery of technical capability requirements by analyzing current competence and comparing with future needs through internal networking and liaison with the organization.
Responsible of the entire technical framework and structure; Conducts Needs analysis
To continuous ensure technical training are at trend
Partner (where necessary) with Government bodies such as ITE and BCA
Representative of OTIS(Technical) in SEIC
Working closing with SEA Talent Management on training initiatives, Workday implementation and any projects implementation.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a technical learning and development capacity
Relevant experience within the Engineering or Construction sector an advantage
Demonstrable experience of national occupational standards and competency mapping
Demonstrable experience in continuous review and improvement of processes and procedures and quality control to meet operational requirements
Demonstrable people management and leadership experience
Degree qualified preferably at Bachelors level or equivalent relevant experience
