Summary:
:
Primary Function:

• Responsible for the calibration, repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance of automated test handlers used for Final Test, Wafer sort, and Tape and Reel manufacturing processes. These include automated test handlers’ sub-assemblies and related components or parts.

Competency Level:

• Graduate with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering courses related to mechanical and electronics.
• Fresh graduate or must have at least 2-years of work experience in an electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Have basic mechanical and electronics knowledge.
• Can repair at least 2 equipment models and repair difficult handler problems.
• Must be at least an expert in one handler type.
• Correct all major jams, component board repair, and perform calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Perform all mechanical and optical alignments, adjustments, and train Technicians in areas of expertise.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs handler setup activities including but not limited to setting up the temperature, lead count, setup file per package, and installing LN2 tank as required on the lot to be tested.
• Perform big and mini-PM and Cal procedures in one handler type assigned to his/her area.
• Performs regular maintenance activities as required by TPM and applies autonomous maintenance techniques.
• Create handler installation and buy-off procedures and specifications.
• Create presentation materials.
• Be an effective project team member.
• Apply project management methods to his/her job.
• Involve as a team member in (2) handler improvement projects per year.
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by Superiors from time to time.
• Ensure that the company’s commitment to environmental management, health, and safety is observed and performed.
• Be aware of the company’s quality and environmental policies.
