Our client, Talent Top Management and Consulting Pte. Limited, is a Singapore-based company specialising in ship building, vessel repair, and ship management services.


They are currently seeking a skilled Technician to join their team in supporting marine electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works.

/Key Responsibilities:

Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on marine vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Manage and mentor a team of electricians, providing guidance on complex electrical tasks and fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop innovative electrical solutions that enhance vessel performance. Ensure all electrical work is documented accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in marine electrical systems, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Diploma in Marine Engineering / Maritime Studies or equivalent. At least 16 to 18 years of experience in Marine Electrical Engineering projects. Familiarity with marine electrical systems and components. Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety practices. In-depth knowledge of marine electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and control systems. Strong understanding of maritime safety standards and regulations. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety. * A strong sense of accountability and ownership in all aspects of work.
