We are currently seeking a competent

Technician - Welder/Fitter

to join our dedicated team in the Service division to perform the following tasks within a busy working environment:

Main Role & Responsibilities

Perform assembly, disassembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of systems. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with welding standards Carry out welding, fitting, grinding, flame cutting, and precision fabrication of fixtures, and structural components according to technical drawings, specifications, and approved procedures. Work with a variety of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, G.I., and E.G. steel. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspection reports, and quality records. Ensure strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards at all times. Set up, prepare, and operate welding and fabrication equipment.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent. Class 3 driving licence or Class 2 driving licence are preferred Experience in setting up and servicing of automation systems, pumps, as well as CNC/PLC control system are preferred Highly independent individual with excellent problem-solving skills. Hands-on individual with competency in both electronics, electrical systems and mechanical systems. Good communication skills.
