Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft parts.
• Responsible for incoming/ initial, in-process and final inspection of repairable parts to ensure conformance to related documents and required repairs.
• Ensure parts are repaired according to the prescribed standards and procedures.
• Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures. established by the manufacturer of the product being inspected and other forms of information.
• Responsible for conducting inspection in accordance with Regulatory approved technical data.
• Carry out SAP transaction and make necessary changes to works order in SAP.
• Carry out proper documentation.
• Actively support and participate in EHS, Continuous Improvement, ethics culture projects and any other corporate initiatives.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
• 2 years relevant experience proficiency in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids. Open to consider candidates with no experience with keen interests to pursue a career in aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirements.
• Familiar with aviation inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment\xe2\x80\x99s and tools used to determine the quality of airworthiness of a part.
• Internal applicant must be in current grade for at least 2 years prior to higher grade application.
• Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of technical drawing for Engine Manual.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
• Relevant technical experience in Engine MRO or Aerospace industry is a plus.
