Functional Support:


Understand business needs and translate them inttechnical requirements. Analyze and design for new enhancements and/or existing functionalities. Data mining and testing tensure new enhancements and/or existing functionalities tmeet business needs. Work with project leads, users and developers timprove processes and functionality.
Technical Support:


Assist with Java application development and troubleshooting after post-implementation. Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data analysis. Support client project leads and users with technical issues and work on improving system performance.
Problem Solving:


Identify and fix technical issues related tJava/Cobol applications and SQL databases after post-implementation . Help analyze operational problems and suggest improvements.
Teamwork:


Work closely with both technical teams and business project leads/users tensure smooth communication. Contribute tsystem improvements and process automation.
Requirements:





Skills and Requirements:


Knowledge of Java and Cobol Mainframe programming Experience with SQL databases and query writing. Good functional business analysis skills and attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong and good communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams such as Client Project Leads and Users. A team player who is eager to learn and grow.
Optional 'Good to Have' Skills:


Experience with Enterprise Java-related backend frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA). Experience with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript. Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA and Excel Macros.
Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 3-4 years of experience working with Java, Cobol and SQL. 3+ years of experience in Implementation (SDLC) and Change Request Related. 2+ years of experience in Operation/BAU Support. Experience in technical support or a similar role is a plus.
