Offered Salary
- S$2,150 per month
\xc2\xb7 GCE \xe2\x80\x98A\xe2\x80\x99 Level / Polytechnic Diploma holder
\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge/keen interest in data analytics work
\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Excel
\xc2\xb7 Confident in engaging traders over the phone
The temp will assist to:
\xc2\xb7 Analyse data of all affected import payment permits and short-payment permits and check that the amount declared in the short-payment permit is accurate to ensure that there is no revenue loss to the government
\xc2\xb7 Identify & engage higher risk importers who have failed to take up the short-payment permit (high value imports, multiple permits involved, etc.).
\xc2\xb7 Follow up with importers to take up the necessary short-payment permits.
\xc2\xb7 Drawing on the experience/learning points, to put in place a process/guide to make the process easier for subsequent GST rate change
Job scope:
\xc2\xb7 Identify, engage and follow through with importers (who have failed to take up a short-payment permits) to ensure that they take up short payment permits to account for their shipments
\xc2\xb7 Educate importers on Customs procedures in preparation for next GST rate change
\xc2\xb7 Provide feedback on possible ways to streamline future reconciliation process
