What the role is:As part of Enterprise Singapore\'s Startup Ecosystem Development Division, you will be working closely with Singapore\'s startup ecosystem partners to support the execution of initiatives and programmes that will drive the growth of the startup ecosystem in collaboration with partners. Our year-long initiatives and community events will galvanise the global innovation community towards the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH). As Asia\'s leading deep tech conference, SWITCH connects the Global-Asia innovation ecosystem through premier thought leadership, vibrant networking, showcases and exhibitions, and the region\'s most exciting deep tech startup competition - SLINGSHOT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to assist in the production of SWITCH and SLINGSHOT and any lead up community events.What you will be working on:You will be instrumental in supporting, co-ordinating and executing activities leading up to and related to SWITCH and SLINGSHOT. Job responsibilities include: 1. Work with stakeholders to develop and conceptualise event plans. 2. Work with stakeholders on the fulfilment of sales and partnership agreements. 3. Coordinate with speakers before, during, and after events to ensure a seamless and professional experience. 4. Liaise between multiple stakeholders, including internal divisions and external parties such as government representatives, sponsors, startups and other third-party vendors, ensuring that event requirements are met. 5. Manage event registration system, tracking attendee information and payments. 6. Develop detailed event administrative programmes, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders. 7. Assist with matters relating to protocol and ensure that VIPs are accorded with the appropriate level of protocol. 8. Handle procurement for event management logistics required. 9. Assist to plan and co-ordinate manpower requirements for events. 10. Prepare post event reports on event outcomes, including attendance, financial performance, and participant feedback.What we are looking for:You should have a recognised diploma with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience organising events in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) industry, with a passion for events and excellent communication and organisational skills. The role requires you to manage stakeholders and high-level delegates confidently, possess good negotiation and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to work within tight deadlines.
