Job Description
:The officer will perform analytical work on various research projects in the entomology and nematology team. Duties include:
- Assist in performing insect colony and plant maintenance
- Assist in conducting research experiments, collecting and archiving data
- Assist in data analysis
- Any other duties as required
- Must be comfortable with handling alive insects
- Good laboratory skills
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and able to thrive in a challenging environment
- Knowledge of general biology, R programming and basic statistics is preferred
