Job Description
URGENTLocation : Thomson RoadPosition : Temp \xe2\x80\x93 One Health OfficeContract period : Immediate \xe2\x80\x93 1 yearFor temp staff working for periods of 3 months or more, they are entitled to benefits.
- Total duration for engagement of temp staff is capped at a maximum of one year, in the first instance.
- Support and facilitate the organisation of workshops by the One Health Office with regard to the national One Health Masterplan.
- Conduct desktop literature reviews and basic scientific writing in relation to One Health communication and scientific material
- Conducting literature reviews in relation to One Health topics. This can include One Health capacity building, emerging and endemic zoonotic diseases, food safety and environmental dimensions of One Health.
- Perform scientific writing to produce communication materials, public education resources, and articles on One Health for a range of stakeholders.
- Conduct horizon scans of One Health research and workforce competencies to produce draft research and workforce development agenda.
- Prepare World One Health and future activity content to promote One Health
- Manage administration functions including organisation of workshops, information collation, stakeholder engagements, and basic secretariat functions e.g. arranging meetings, presentation materials, and note-taking.
- Execute any ad-hoc activities as required to develop the One Health Masterplan.
