What the role is:The People and Culture Division is part of the Human Capital Group, playing an important role in shaping Enterprise Singapore as a talent hub that grows stronger people who in turn grow stronger Singaporean enterprises. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic HR Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month temporary contract. This position is ideal for individuals at the early stages of their HR career to gain hands-on experience in employee engagement, event coordination, and welfare and benefits administration. The successful candidate will play a part in enhancing employee satisfaction and fostering a positive workplace culture through creative initiatives and effective communication strategies. The successful candidate may also have opportunities to support other HR projects or workstreams along the way. If you identify with our Enterprise Singapore way of growing through collaboration, innovation, and appreciation, we encourage you to apply and kickstart your own journey of professional and personal growth.What you will be working on:Employee Experience & Engagement: - Support the team in aligning the employee experience strategy with the organization\'s core values, ultimately enhancing the Employee Value Proposition (EVP). - Develop and implement recognition programs and comprehensive communications plans to improve employee engagement. - Conduct regular pulse checks to gather feedback and drive improvements in workplace experience and culture. Event Coordination: - Support the organization of board-wide events and activities to promote collaboration and a sense of community, enhancing the overall workplace culture and EVP. - Ideate new and exciting formats in which events can be executed, engaging employees using a variety of tools to maximise outreach and create the desired EVP. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure event requirements are met, while managing logistics, budget, and event branding. Welfare and Benefits Administration: - Support the team in reviewing and suggesting enhancements to employee welfare and benefits schemes to strengthen the EVP and remain competitive in the job market. - Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs and provide support to employees regarding benefits and welfare-related queries. - Maintain accurate records of benefits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. HR Projects: - Support other key initiatives which contribute to the overall success of the Human Capital Group. Note: This job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification to meet the needs of the business.What we are looking for:Education: - Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience: - Prior experience in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. - Experience in marketing, communications, or events management is a plus. Skills and Attributes: - Good communication and stakeholder management skills. - Organized and meticulous with the ability to work and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. - Creative, energetic, and resourceful with a bias for action. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. - Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse employee feedback and HR metrics to drive improvements in our work culture and EVP. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Proficiency in Canva for creating visual content is preferred. - Experience and interest in using the latest technology and trends to design events and engagement initiatives, whether physically or virtually, is a plus. - Professional HR certification (e.g., IHRP, CIPD) is a plus.About Enterprise Singapore:Enterprise Singapore is the government agency championing enterprise development.
