Job scopeTo assist in our effort to step up and intensify Dengue Control measures (for BTO Construction Sites) and conduct audits and checks to ensure that the construction sites e.g. WQ, canteens, toilets, site offices, construction areas and other facilities, including the general surrounding of the site are kept clean and tidy at all times to prevent the breeding or harbouring of vectors. The job include the following: -a. Review and check on Dengue Control Management Plan implementation by Contractor and Consultantsb. Review and check on the effective plan for the daily ECO inspection (with a team of Env workers) for Oiling/Larviciding operation, including search and destroy of mosquitoes breeding grounds; Coverage and manpower Stagnant water to be removed daily Residual/ Oiling spraying to be done weekly All drains (internal and perimeter) to be cleaned and flushed All receptacles to be removed end of the day.c. Check on the weekly Licensed Pest Control Operator (PCO)d. Review and check on the Periodic/Weekly time out to tidy site cleanliness and housekeeping: Regular Consultants and Contractors' inspection. Block Chart to be used for DU audit check. Block Chart to be endorsed and submitted together with the Env audit report and dengue focus check liste. Monitor Daily toolbox briefing by the contractor on mosquitoes preventionf. Review, evaluate and assess the effectiveness of the Dengue Control Plang. Submit reports and presentation of results, review and measures taken for site implementationJob qualifications/requirements(i) Minimally a diploma with building background. A Good Degree/Diploma in Arch / Civil / Environmental / Structural / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering/ Project Management/Environmental studies/Vector control is preferred.(ii) Familiar with construction sites requirements on vector control management for NEA's compliance;(iii) Excellent team player with ability to meet deadlines;(iv) Positive character attributes with "can-do" attitude;(v) Good communication and interpersonal skills: (vi) Proficient Knowledge of MS office e.g. excel, word, powerpoint etcWorking Hours Mon - Thurs: 8:30am - 6pm Fri: 8:30am - 5:30pmContract Period: Until 31 December 2022Salary: $12/hourTransport Allowance: $50/month
