Job Description


The Risk Management Institute (RMI) aims to be a world-class centre in risk management through research, education and training, and is striving to become a local, regional and global knowledge and research centre for risk management and related fields.

  • To assist with the institute through a variety of administrative duties, including organizing and execution of annual workshop and conferences
  • To provide general administrative support to the institute and running of events such as central banker\'s workshops and annual conferences, communication with partnering institutes etc.
  • Design and create e-flyers, maintain website and social media platform presence such as LinkedIn for the institute\'s activities and events.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and growth of the institute\'s event mailing list.
  • Maintain Director\'s schedule and assists in coordination of meetings, communication with other departments, reimbursements, procurements, leaves and other ad hoc matters when required.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the door access system.
  • Other housekeeping matters and ad hoc duties assigned.
To assist in the collaboration with client on training requirement and provide support in planning, organizing and execution of the training Programs (local and overseas) / undergraduate course organised by the Institute.
  • Assist in collaboration with client on training requirement to customize local and overseas training program according to their needs.
  • Responsible for the delivery of SSG funded programs - including preparing claims & audit documents, registration, attendance, enrolment and assessment matters and ensuring smooth delivery of finance and administrative matters.
  • Liaising with various faculties to ensure smooth delivery of undergraduate course, including managing different key systems such as Edurec, CMIS, CMS, Canvas, IMMS. Managing of examination and administrative matters. Handling of enquiries and making sure that students\' needs and enquiry are handled with care.
  • Assists lecturers and troubleshoot technical issues encountered by them.
  • Provide support and ensure the procurement matters are in accordance with the university guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree holder
  • At least 5-6 years of experience
  • Proficiency with MS office applications
  • Good communications skills
  • Good spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong attention to details and able to multi-task
  • Able to work well independently
  • Experience with event management would be preferred
