Applications are invited for the following part-time/contingent position in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health: Temporary Junior Research Assistant (Epidemiology) The candidate will lead academic research on a cognition inter Applications are invited for the following part-time/contingent position in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health: Temporary Junior Research Assistant (Epidemiology) The candidate will lead academic research on a cognition intervention study, and assist in research procedures. Candidate will gain extensive training and exposure to research skills (study conduct / planning, data analysis, and scientific writing) as well as supervision skills. . Work with research team members relevant centres to coordinate participants' visits. . Administer questionnaires and neuropsychological assessments with participants (training will be provided). . Follow-up with participants to schedule their visits to NUS/ relevant centres. . Training participants to use a tablet-based navigation training and assessment. . Oversee, plan project demands and determine project goals to ensure the project supports research objectives and strategies. . Assist in data entry and data analysis of research projects. . The Research Assistant will carry out other duties as specified by their Reporting Officer. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE BSc, BA, BA (Psych) or relevant Background. Applicants with Masters are welcome to apply Requirements . Willing to travel to off-campus locations. . Very good written and oral communication skills. . Able to speak Mandarin (Ability to speak dialects will be an added advantage). . Comfortable working with participants aged 60 and above. . Good grasp of latest IT technologies, methodologies, and best practices. . Familiar with using mobile/ tablet devices. . Possess leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different collaborators. . Possess a can-do attitude towards complex challenges. .
