Job Description

& Responsibilities:

Develop and prepare detailed method statements for offshore windfarm T&I projects. Define the approach, techniques, and procedures for transportation and installation of offshore structures. Help develop realistic project schedules, considering technical complexity and constraints. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in the method statements. Identify potential risks during the execution phase and propose mitigative actions. Ensure technical solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and align with project timelines. Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive proposals for materials, equipment, and services required for offshore installation. Work closely with the cost estimator to assess the technical aspects of cost estimates. Identify technical risks associated with offshore installation and propose effective solutions. Prepare and contribute to risk management plans, ensuring that all potential challenges are considered and addressed. Assess the impact of weather, sea conditions, and other environmental factors on project feasibility and execution. Prepare all necessary technical documentation required for the tender submission, including technical clarifications, drawings, and specifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or relevant discipline) 5-7 years of experience in a similar role (Tender Engineer, Operations Engineer, Field Engineer or Project Engineer) in the offshore oil and gas, renewable energy, or marine construction industries. Specific experience in Transportation and Installation (T&I) projects or offshore projects is essential. Demonstrated experience in offshore construction, heavy lifting operations, and the installation of subsea structures, with a strong preference for experience in offshore windfarm projects. * Hands-on experience with offshore installation techniques and logistics planning.
