CreditSights is a leading independent credit research provider, headquartered in New York. We produce fundamental and quantitative research on bond issuers in the US, Europe and Asia. The firm has around 950 institutional clients around the world, including banks, investment advisors, mutual funds, pension managers, insurance companies, hedge funds, private equity firms and corporations.

Company Overview: CreditSights empowers more than 14,500 financial professionals among the world\'s largest institutions with the independent research, credit-risk tools and comprehensive market insights they need to minimize uncertainty and make well-informed credit decisions. Through our web portal and mobile app, we provide timely data, news, recommendations and unbiased analysis of the investment-grade and high-yield debt securities of 1,200 issuers around the world. We are looking for a Regional Account Representative to join our Global Clients team with responsibility for growing and maintain relationships with our strategic global customers. You will be responsible for learning the entire suite of CreditSights\xe2\x80\x99 solutions, understanding how they are used and valued by our customers\xe2\x80\x99 unique businesses, and make compelling recommendations for additional investments and renewals in CreditSights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a book of current customers, involvement in large, centralized global contracts, and outbound activity within the long tail of your portfolio. Candidate will partner with a select group of global clients to identify solutions that can help them achieve their regional and global business objectives.
  • Candidate is willing to strive to meet and exceed quote, and always act to deliver value which exceeds customer expectations while ensuring alignment with the company\xe2\x80\x99s business strategy.
  • Build, define and execute the go-to-market strategy to achieve high growth results and sustainable performance in collaboration with the global account team.
  • Evangelize and provide thought leadership through constant engagement with the market and the customer community, develop and maintain high-level relations with C-level executives with the view to generating new business.
  • Demonstrate sales operational excellence by using our CRM tracking activities and, most importantly, forecasting.
  • Coordinate with research and support teams to create targeted corporate communications and events.
  • Be open, collaborative, and customer-focused in all communications and transactions with your global account team and clients

Job Requirements:
  • A high-energy individual who excels at articulating and promoting the value and competitive advantages of CreditSights\xe2\x80\x99 research to help our customers solve key business problems.
  • Strong communicator of ideas, able to engage and lead client and CreditSights\xe2\x80\x99 teams in challenging the status quo, implementing change, and driving action with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven success in sales, consulting, or marketing within financial services data, research and/or solutions is essential \xe2\x80\x93 especially with Global Bank businesses (Private Banking, Asset Management, Investment Banking)
  • Familiar with the credit market landscape (across buy-side, sell-side, solution providers, etc.) and how it works in Asia Pacific; established network of contacts is desirable.
  • Driven to achieve success, inherent self-leadership, innovative, adaptability, confidence and executive presence. Exceptionally persuasive and impactful. Effective working in cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of customer facing, quota carrying sales, account, or relationship management roles - which will ideally have been gained from: a data, financial vendor or banking, broker/dealer background.
  • A relevant university degree and/ or other financial qualifications.
  • Knowledgeable about the Asia-Pacific fixed income investor base and its research requirements.
  • Strong influencing and well-developed interpersonal skills including demonstrable evidence of the ability to credibly interact with, and influence, senior level executives.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter with team player attitude and orientation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sales in parallel whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent English verbal / written communication skills.
  • Fluency in another Asian language is desirable, but not essential for the role. The candidate may be required to communicate with clients in these languages.
  • The role will be based in Singapore with frequent travelling within the Asia Pacific region
