About the Roles

We are seeking a dedicated

Test & Compliance Technician (Lighting / Electrical)

to join a

manufacturing and repair company specializing in electrical equipment

, located at

Ang Mo Kio Ave 5

. This is a

permanent, full-time

position with a

5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8am-5:30pm)

What You'll Be Doing

Plan and carry out testing of lighting products, focusing on emergency lighting performance and safety standards. Prepare and maintain technical reports, test records, and compliance documentation required for certifications such as SS 563. Work closely with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve any compliance or testing issues. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety. Keep the test lab organized and compliant with safety and operational procedures. Stay updated on the latest lighting standards, regulations, and industry requirements related to emergency lighting. Perform other related technical or administrative duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Keen interest in product testing, quality compliance, and safety standards within the lighting industry. Hands-on familiarity with testing instruments, data recording, and result analysis will be advantageous.
