Test Engineer
Job Description
Essential Functions:
\xc2\xb7 Assist in managing a deployed fleet of hundreds of pieces of test equipment and related test software modules.
\xc2\xb7 Create and enforce qualification standards across multiple product lines and functional departments.
\xc2\xb7 Work with contract manufacturers to validate product qualification using consigned test equipment.
\xc2\xb7 Create documentation for tester maintenance and support.
\xc2\xb7 Review and implement engineering change requests (ECR - ECO).
\xc2\xb7 Contribute to design reviews, improve automated functional tests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
\xc2\xb7 Rigorous engineering design-based methodology combined with multi-disciplinary engineering skills.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems or robots.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to troubleshoot connected devices and sensors on Windows based machines.
\xc2\xb7 Workflow management using Jira and documentation in Confluence.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with version control management systems (EPDM, Bitbucket, Stash)
\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
Minimum education and work experience required:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in related engineering discipline.
\xc2\xb7 3-5 years of experience in a cross functional role dealing with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
