Additional responsibilities include working with clients, vendors, and other support teams to ensure successful delivery of security services.Responsibilities: Threat Intelligence

• Provides threat assessment report on potential cyber-attacks specific to client
• Identify different threat actors and profiles and attack vectors
• Identify threat campaign launched against client or specific industry
• Identify motivation of threat actors, likelihood of attack, and impact on business
• Develop relationship with various groups, domestic and international, public or private, including dark web for information gathering and exchange
• Monitor various threat intelligences sources, both open source and close source
• Maintain threat intelligence database
• Conduct security assessment to determine gaps for possible attacks, and provide recommendations to mitigate the attack
• Provide actionable threat intelligence report to be shared with client and law enforcement
• Work with law enforcement to coordinate response on cyber-attacks

*Incident Response

• Review incident response plan, techniques, processes and procedures to enable proactive detection and minimize impact on critical systems
• Align IR plan to industry best practice - preparation, identification, containment, eradication, recovery, lessen learned
• Prepare IR plan against cyber kill chain and adversaries TTP (Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures)

Others

• Provide technical expertise and directions to day-to-day security operations
• Stay current on security trends to mitigate potential security exposure
• Design, build, and run complex solutions and run the project
• Review policies, standards and other process documents to ensure compliance on regulatory requirements as well as business requirements
• Provides regular security reports to various stakeholders
• Review contractual requirements
• Review and respond to RFP
• Stakeholder management
• Maintains internal procedural standards or runbooks related to the role
• Documenting process improvements and common problems
• Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts and provide recommendations for improvements

Qualifications:

• Experience with sources, tools, and methods on threat intelligence collection and analysis
• Experience tracking APT groups and other high grade threat.
• Experience with using one or more of the following: python, Perl, bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with malware analysis
• Willing and comfortable on presenting results to peers, supervisors and clients.
• Experience with identification threat actor TTPs and campaigns, gather information for reconnaissance, including large and unstructured data sets to identify trends and anomalies indicative of malicious cyber activities.
• Knowledge and understands the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP network communication protocols.
• Experience with Threat Hunting
