Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

• Define best practices, design, build and support the essential foundations of the TIBCO integration platform.
• Migrate TIBCO BW, EMS, MQ Adapter, and Managed File Transfer applications from the existing platform to the new one.
• Partner with the offshore team to define and coordinate technical design and project delivery.
• Review high-level and low-level designs and provide technical guidance.
• Develop a new common framework jointly with other applications/project teams.
• Contribute to the end-to-end solution for these new integration streams.
• Contribute to defect leakage and quality improvement initiatives.
• Share support and expertise by providing training and knowledge-sharing sessions with the onsite and offshore team members.

• 8+ years of experience in the Technology field including hands-on in both development and production support roles.
• Solid experience in TIBCO products in ActiveMatrix suites (BW, BPM, BE, MFT, BC, EMS, Hawk, Adapters, etc.).
• Extensive work on web services (SOAP/REST).
• Java/J2EE background with experience in Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse, JUnit, Apache, etc.
• Understanding of XML file format, hashing and encryption, and transfer protocols (sFTP, AS2, SOAP, etc.).
• Track record in providing application and technical assistance on multiple systems and platforms.
• Experience in providing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels.
• Experience in planning, designing, and executing effective support and process models.
• Understanding of Software Process Models like Agile, Waterfall, etc.
• Experience in Incident and Problem Management: Incident tracking and reporting; Problem tracking and reporting until resolution to ensure a reduction of production incidents
