About the Team
Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our continued growth and expansion.
Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing team -- responsible for mitigating risks and maintaining a safe and healthy TikTok Shop content ecosystem (focusing on SEA markets)
  • Devise and implement plans to detect, assess and address known and unknown risks, in line with local legal, social and cultural developments
  • Drive the tracking and fulfilment of metrics which measure content ecosystem health and quality
  • Devise and implement plans to localise policies and strategies -- to raise the overall content ecosystem quality and enhance personalised recommendations for users
  • Devise and implement plans to monitor and enforce policies and strategies effectively at-scale, including via automation and ensuring moderation quality -- through regular and actionable data tracking and analyses
  • Identify, develop and implement new metrics, signals, and risks prioritization -- to enable effective tracking of and response to risk-trends and social, cultural and regulatory insights
  • Devise and implement effective feedback loops to receive regular input on strategies, policies and enforcement mechanisms, from internal and external stakeholders, to enhance and scale policies and enforcement
  • Devise and implement workflows to triage, investigate, and resolve cases and escalations in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders -- including Engineering, Ops, Product, Moderation, Legal -- to develop and launch relevant strategies, policies and strategies from end-to-end
  • Coach and mentor individual team members in a collaborative, cohesive and results-driven environment -- to maximise their individual and collective potential
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
  • 8+ years working' experience, with 4+ years practical experience in Content Health & Safety, Content Operations, Trust & Safety, Internet Safety, Ecosystem Health or related fields
  • 2+ years experience leading, managing teams in Content Health & Safety, Content Operations, Trust & Safety, Internet Safety, Ecosystem Health or related fields
  • End-to-end experience in developing, implementing and enforcing Content Health & Safety policies and strategies
  • Driven, proactive, action-oriented and results-driven with strong critical thinking abilities, able to thrive in a fast-paced and matrixed environment
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills (both verbal and written), to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior ones
  • Strong leadership skills to organize, develop and motivate a high-performing team
  • Strong business, product, and data interpretation acumen
  • Proficiency in querying and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python), or experience analyzing large data sets using the latest tools (e.g., MapReduce, Hadoop), will be prioritised
  • Familiarity with SEA e-commerce ecosystem will be advantageous
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Fluency in any other SEA language is preferred, given the need to review local SEA content
