Job Overview

  • As the TMT industry leader for Asia, you will be responsible for helping create and deliver WTW’s TMT Industry proposition across the region
  • Working with the Head of Sales & Client Management Leader, you will build a value-driven TMT-specific prospect/client engagement strategy
  • You will develop & display deep knowledge and expertise of the TMT industries and share that knowledge collaboratively with our Corporate Risk & Broking teams across Asia
  • You will be the face of TMT for WTW in Asia. You will work with WTW marketing teams to create and share TMT thought leadership, positioning WTW as a TMT specialist
  • Working with regional sales specialists, you will build and monitor a robust pipeline of Asia TMT prospects
  • You will use your experience to ensure that TMT tender-response is of the highest quality, showcasing the full range of WTW’s solutions
  • You will apply your experiences, data, and analytics to bring distinctive and innovative solutions to clients & prospects in collaboration with Country Corporate Risk & Broking Leaders and Regional Sales & Client Management Leader

Major Accountability
  • Conduct joint business planning and budgeting with Country Corporate Risk & Broking Leaders and Regional Sales & Client Management Leader
  • Collaborate with Country Corporate Risk & Broking Leaders to develop an effective TMT industry strategy
  • Work with them to build robust TMT pipelines and continually monitor and challenge TMT pipeline efficacy
  • Identify prospecting targets to secure new TMT accounts and drive cross-selling of products within TMT sectors
  • Develop client & prospect relationships in TMT industries
  • Provide thought-leadership to TMT clients & prospects, helping them visualize the emerging risk/trends relevant to their industries and leads the development of value-building solutions
  • Provide coaching and TMT technical support to in-country colleagues
  • Responsible with the recruitment of country TMT industry specialists


The Requirements
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the TMT industry sectors, key and emerging risks and common risk mitigation strategies
  • Background in risk & insurance an advantage. (TMT industry applicants must be willing to quickly learn risk and insurance fundamentals)
  • Appropriate Industry professional qualifications
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong facilitation skills and stakeholder management skills – able to use inclusive/collaborative styles to gain agreement and manage conflict
  • Strong skills in problem-solving with a clear focus on understanding needs and exceeding client expectations
  • Clear understanding of company strategy, operating environment, and business objectives
  • Ability to manage virtual teams – setting and agreeing direction and objectives for individuals who may not have a direct reporting relationship
  • Hold regulatory licenses, permissions and technical or other requirements as per regulatory requirement
