Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and create tooling to support MRO activities. Tooling includes assembly jigs, ground support equipment, shop tooling aids, machining fixtures, handling tools, etc
• Create drawing and guidelines for tooling set-up and utilization
• Liaise with internal and external machining facilities for tooling fabrication
• Engage and coordinate with operation teams to ensure all MRO tools are well organized and good conditions. Ensure safe working practices
• Trouble-shoot, provide engineering solutions and improvements for tooling technical problems
• Support tooling periodical calibration for assembly jigs, load testing etc. Maintain and update calibration records
• Support quality investigation, continuous improvement and innovation development

Education Level, Qualifications and Certifications:

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Design Engineering with 1 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of relevant experience. OR
• Diploma holder with 4 \xe2\x80\x93 6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing and/or Tooling Design will be considered.

Experience Level:

• 4-6 years experience in tooling design and manufacturing is added advantage

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge in machining and rapid prototyping would be beneficial
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, geometric dimensioning, and tolerance.
• Ability to use various measurement instruments.
• Proficient in MS Office and CATIA V5 applications
• Use of laser trackers for tooling calibration is added advantage

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
