Job Description
Location: West
Work Week: 5 days' work week (8.30am to 5.30pm)
Salary Range :3.8k to 5k
:
Work with the team of toolmakers in achieving the goals & objectives. Provide technical tooling support to the T&D and production line to achieve technical & quality requirements. Technical support to tool designing and sales in meeting customers' requirements. Support tooling supervisor to ensure tool readiness to support production. Liaise with production and planner to set priority schedule base on tooling status. Liaise with Design department on tool improvement for greater output and efficiency. Lead the tooling team in problem solving, identification of problems & analysis of root cause. Lead/support continuous improvements in tool/work processes. Work closely with toolroom on machining needs for tooling modification and improvement program. Assist to manage the overall tooling group to ensure efficient allocation of resources and as well as meeting the needs of the department. Train, guide and counsel toolmakers. Act on behalf of the Principal Engineer in his absence. Any other duties as may be assigned by superior and/or management.
Requirements:
Diploma in Precision Engineering Technical qualification in Tool & Die making.
