We are pleased to be working with a highly decorated Asset/Wealth Management firm to appoint a Total Rewards Vice-President. Despite the global uncertainties (particularly inflationary pressures of late) brought about by the Covid19 pandemic and political instability experienced in farther regions, our client saw good, stable yields throughout FY2021/2022. Such positive returns are courtesy of a capable workforce that possesses the foresight to build strong yet diversified portfolios of asset classes. To ensure that people remain their greatest strength, the client is looking for a strategic Human Resources practitioner who can invigorate extant Rewards frameworks and ensure that the right talents continue to be attracted and retained. This role will be based in Singapore.
Reporting into the Head of Rewards, the Total Rewards Vice-President will be part of a team responsible for designing robust compensation solutions aimed at improving employee experience (i.e. fostering culture of meritocratic performance), and retention rates by extension. This involves paying heed to the nuances that exist between/among the different asset/business groups while ensuring that a common thread runs through all of them. Aside from such strategic responsibilities, the Total Rewards Vice-President is also expected to be relatively hands-on and participate in routine operations. Performing market analyses, taking stock of job gradings, providing advice to Talent Acquisition teams on offer packages at appropriate junctures are examples of the types of bread-and-butter groundwork to be done. Put simply, this role is underpinned by a commitment towards continuous improvements and implementing Rewards interventions that align stakeholders behind shared goals.
We are looking for a proven HR individual with at least 6 years of experience in Total Rewards, ideally within Financial Services. Aside from staying current on latest best practices, you should possess strong analytical skills that would enable you to make Rewards recommendations that are well-supported by relevant metrics. As the role requires you to be able to influence decisions within and beyond HR, a proven track record of extensive stakeholder management across varied functions and seniority will be favoured. The ability to convey Rewards vision clearly to senior leadership team and the wider workforce is another highly sought after trait.
